Community Service is performed by inmates under the supervision of a Correctional Officer. Many towns in Grafton County have benefited financially and aesthetically from these work crews. Crews have painted buildings and fences, picked up trash on roadways, cleaned up beaches and worked on many other projects. |

The winter is gone. The snow has melted and the Grafton County Community Work Service Program is once again underway. The supervised cleanup crews began bagging roadside trash on April 6 2009. On average, the cleanup crews fill 23 1/2 bags per mile. As of April 14 2009, over 355 bags of trash have been collected. |

Grafton County donated thousands of pounds of potatoes to food pantries and senior centers throughout the state. Pictured below and to the right, inmates deliver potatoes to the Plymouth Senior Center and the Bristol Community Service Center. |
